The SSIM-IIBS 2-Year Full-Time PGDM NextGen Flagship Program is designed around these changing expectations, helping students build their management knowledge while developing skills that can be applied in the workplace. 

The programme follows a practical approach to management education. Students learn the fundamentals of business and management, but their learning does not stop with classroom discussions. Case studies, live projects, presentations, business simulations, internships, industry interactions, seminars and expert sessions give students opportunities to see how business decisions are made and how different functions work together. 

During the two-year PGDM journey, students develop an understanding of areas such as finance, marketing, human resources, operations, analytics and supply chain management. The program also allows students to develop specialised knowledge through industry-linked learning. The NextGen Flagship Program offers eight specialised pathways, including Finance with SAP-FICO, Marketing with SAP-S&D, Global Finance with ACCA (UK), Operations with SAP-MM, Human Resource Management with SAP SuccessFactors, Business Analytics powered by HCLTech, Logistics & Supply Chain Management with SAP-MM, and Digital Marketing with Google. 

This combination of management education and professional certification helps students understand their chosen domain while becoming familiar with tools and platforms used in professional environments.  

A major part of management education is learning how to apply knowledge. Students work on assignments and projects that require research, analysis, presentations and teamwork. Regular interaction with industry professionals also gives them an opportunity to understand workplace expectations and current business practices. Over time, these experiences can help students become more comfortable with communication, problem-solving, collaboration, decision-making and leadership. 

Career preparation is integrated into the programme rather than being limited to the final stage of the course. Students receive placement training and career assistance covering areas such as resume development, aptitude preparation, communication, interview preparation and professional grooming. Mentoring and interactions with CEOs, VPs, HR professionals and other industry experts can also help students understand different career paths and the skills expected in corporate roles. 

The programme also provides opportunities to gain broader exposure through student exchange initiatives and foreign university certification. Such experiences can introduce students to different business environments and perspectives, adding another dimension to their management education. 


The 2-year full-time corporate-ready PGDM programme is offered at a tuition fee of ₹12.45 lakhs. Students can also avail merit-based scholarships of up to ₹2 lakhs, based on their performance in entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, SSIMAT and GMAT, or their consistent academic performance in Class 10, Class 12 and Graduation. Students with 70% or above throughout Class 10, 12 and Graduation are eligible for a scholarship of up to ₹2 lakhs, while scholarships are also available for qualifying entrance exam percentiles and other academic percentages, as per the applicable criteria.
